SEO Toolbar for Opera! Better than Google Toolbar

I love Opera. I really feel Firefox is over rated. It’s bloated and a resource hog. The only problem with Opera is that it doesn’t have the developer community that Firefox does. Opera is so lightweight, surfing is so much faster with Opera, and I love how clean the browser is.
My only gripe with Opera in the past were that Google doesn’t support it for their toolbar, and there really wasn’t a good SEO plugin or toolbar. Until now! Mike Samokhvalov has created a great tool called SEObar.

This a great tool which sits on your webpage, easily customized to hide on any corner of your browser. (I keep mine minimized in the bottom left of the browser, and simply hit the “+” sign when I want explore the SEO of a site).
Features Include
- Displays PR
- Alexa Rating
- One click Whois checks
- # of Backlinks for Google and Yahoo
- Highlights external links
- Highlights nofollow links
- …and much more.
It comes preset with a few Russian directories in the mix, but via the options tab these directories are easily turned off.
You really need to give this a try, and start using OPERA! Their upcoming release is going to be great. I’ve been trying it out for a month or so now, and many sites that used to not support Opera, now generate perfectly with the newer version. Now, with the SEObar, my surfing experience is perfect. So, stay tuned.

Andy… I am a big fan of FireFox. I tried Opera (based on all your raves), and just could not get the hang of it… None of my regular websites came up right in the browser. Everything was a little off — sire could have made work with some sort of customization, but some basics should work out-of-the-box.
Mozilla has launched a new “labs” section for Firefox customizations, and it is awesome!
Check out http://labs.mozilla.com/
I have already been using their tabs upgrade with smart-colors - kicks ass! “Personas” is quite good as well.
I am sure Opera is great - but seems to be geared more towards the experts like you, not the basic user like me ![]()
