Today was a good day

You know those days when things aren’t going your way. You wake up and it’s so cold outside that all you want to do is pull the covers up over your head and lay there for about 12 more hours. The type of day when you pour you a bowl of cereal only to find out that you’ve run out of milk. The day when you walk outside to grab your newspaper in your boxers only to find that it’s not there. The type of day that everything seems to go the wrong way.

If only something good happened. Just one thing. One stupid thing which brought a smile to your face. Well, this morning I opened up my virtual newspaper (Charlotte.com) and read some good news.

IKEA is building a store in Charlotte! :) Read here for the full story.

Now, you may seem a little perplexed about how this brings a smile to my face. But, every home owner out there knows the jubilation that I’m feeling. IKEA is probably the Walmart/Target equivelant of a home furnishings store. It’s not the best quality, but it’s not terribly crappy either.

Thanks IKEA, for making me smile!

(Note to self: I need to get out more often.)

Sherron and I drove all the way to Atlanta to go to an IKEA. So we are thrilled with the news. And I heard it first on andydenton.com!

Andy, I have been to your house. I am not sure if it is possible to pimp it out any more. :)

Sorry, comments are closed for the moment.
